Binod Shahi Inspiring Works – Sir of the Himalayas

Watch this video below of Binod Shahi inspiring works in remote parts of the Nepal. In remote Himalayan areas such as Dolpa, Binod has been working towards educating and serving the people over there for more than 8 years now. He started the initiative on his own and now urges others to join hands in supporting development of such remote areas in the country. Binod has served in areas which are beyond the reach of Nepal’s Government development schemes. Watch this video and see if he inspires with what he and others have to say about his work since 2005.

Binod Shahi ‘Nepal’, a humble youth from the capital city Kathmandu, has been relentlessly working towards educating and serving the remote and very backward society in Upper Dolpa region of the Himalayas since 2005. Over the years, he has not only culminated the society in Dolpa with the values of education, he has also won the hearts of the people there, thus, being known as the ‘Sir’ of the Upper Dolpa. He also encourages Nepalese people to participate in supporting Dolpa in every little way they can, thus, making them genuine partners in the development of the region and the nation as a whole. He has been selflessly visiting Dolpa with every basic facilities he can cater to the people there. He lives there for 6 months surviving on what the place has to offer. Rest of the months, he is collecting funds for the following year.
