National Flag of Nepal to be bent for Three Days in Commemoration of Mandela
Whole world is struck by demise of the Leader of the Century, Nelson Mandela and in this time of intolerable grief, Cabinet of Ministers of Nepal has decided to bow down the national flag of Nepal for three days in remembrance of the legendary figure, Nelson Mandela. In deepest condolence to Mandela, the national flag of Nepal will be half-bent for three days at government offices and at diplomatic bureaus abroad; and the government of Nepal will not do any formal or official programs till the period.
While the national flag of Nepal will be bent for three days in commemoration of Mandela, a representative team on behalf of the government of Nepal, led by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Madhav Prasad Ghimire, will be going to South Africa in Commiseration Ceremony of Mandela on 10 December.
