Indira Ranamagar<\/strong> of Prisoners Assistance (PA) Nepal<\/strong> has been nominated for World\u2019s Children\u2019s Prize 2014. Indira is a young activist who has been struggling for 20 years in rescuing thousands of prisoners\u2019 children in Nepal. Through PA Nepal, she has been personally and rigorously working for promising the basic health and education rights of prisoners\u2019 children. The prestigious World\u2019s Children\u2019s Prize is considered as the Nobel Prize for children rights. Along with Indira, Malala Yusufzai from Pakistan and John Wood from America have also been nominated for the prize.<\/p>\n In 2002, Indira established PA Nepal and since then she has been beseeching with legislators and specialists for the protection of prisoners\u2019 children. She has been running three children\u2019s home, two schools and various youth initiative programs on organic agriculture, arts and crafts, all targeted to ensure the rights of prisoners\u2019 children. Beside of providing basic health, educational and vocational services and trainings to prisoners\u2019 children, Indira also fights for legal rights of the children.<\/p>\n
