Parties agree to form Government under Khil Raj Regmi

Political leaders of UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress (NC), CPN-UML and United Democratic Madhesi Front have agreed to form a government under Khil Raj Regmi today. Regmi holds the current chief justice position of Nepal. The government will mainly be responsible for conducting the elections.

Although the agreement hasn’t been made public, it’s believed that the Chief Justice will take oath of office and secrecy today at around 11 pm. Meanwhile, the party’s leaders are still working to resolve constitutional and legal hurdles.
