Nepali Players Team (Squad) for SAFF Championship 2013
South Asia´s premier football tournament, SAFF Championship begins in Kathmandu today and host country Nepal is scheduled to take on Bangladesh in the inaugural match this evening. Nepal has selected its 20-member national football team for the tournament that will last till September 11.
Apart from tonight’s match, Nepal will play Pakistan on 3rd September and India on 5th September in the scheduled matches. Here’s the 20-member national players team (aquad) for SAFF Championship 2013.
Goalkeepers: Kiran Kumar Limbu (Three Star)‚ Ritesh Thapa (NPC) and Bishal Shrestha (MMC);
Defenders: Sagar Thapa (MMC)‚ Rohit Chand (Persija Jakarta)‚Sandip Rai (Three Star)‚ Biraj Maharjan (Three Star)‚ Sabindra Shrestha (Three Star) and Rabin Shrestha (NPC);
Midfielders: Jagjit Shrestha (Three Star)‚ Bikram Lama (Three Star)‚ Prakash Budhathoki (Three Star)‚ Raju Tamang (TAC)‚ Tanka Basnet (TAC) and Bhola Silwal (NPC);
