Miss Nepal USA is a platform that empowers Nepali women to give back to the community by bringing awareness on social issues and garnishing support of Nepali people living back home and abroad to bring about change.
If you are selected for this title, what platform or issue will you speak throughout the year ?
Despite the quota system Nepal has set up for women in politics, quite often, there is lack of informed and educated women such as Sapna Malla Pradhan in policymaking, which is why I would like to put an emphasis on the need to empower women through education and encourage them to take a stand in policymaking.
