Apart from being focused on my career I utilize my spare time pursuing hobbies like fashion blogging, writing articles on women’s rights and empowerment, volunteering in local organizations, taking online classes at Coursera and Skillshare. To foster my entrepreneurial spirit I engage in e-commerce events and last year I also successfully completed an internship with Grassroots Movement in Nepal (GMIN) based in New York. My interests include promoting youth leadership, learning new social media marketing tools and strategies and entrepreneurship.

Why do you want to participate in this pageant?

I believe Miss Nepal US in the last two years has given tremendous power for Nepali women living in US to speak their minds and be the change they want to see in the society. It promotes women empowerment and bridges the gap between nepali roots and american dream. My vision as an aspiring nepali youth aligns with this pageant’s mission. Hence, there could not be a better opportunity than this for me to explore and express my potential at a global platform.

If you are selected for this title, what platform or issue will you speak throughout the year ?
I will not only advocate but also actively participate to support youth entrepreneurship, gender equality, women empowerment through financial literacy, sustainability and civic engagement both in Nepal and US
