Basant Chaudhary Interview, Megha eBook Release in London, UK

One of the most successful businessmen, Basant Chaudhary was here in London few days ago for his Megha – eBook release and participation in a Nepali New Year program by Nepalese Nursing Association UK. Chaudhary, who spent only couple of days in London, spoke briefly to us after releasing his Megha – eBook at Embassy of Nepal in London. Megha – eBook release event at Embassy of Nepal in London was organized and coordinated by “Mission to Help”, a Nepali Charity organization (Nepali NGO with its headquarters based in the UK). The event saw presence of several embassy-invited guests including popular singer Hemant Sharma and BBC Nepali service editor Suman Kharel among others. Ambassador Suresh Chandra Chalise released the hardcopy of the poetry collection Megha before eBook version was distributed to the invited guests at the function. Chaudhary later left everyone relished reciting dozen of his poems from the book.

Megha is a second poetry collection from Basant Chaudhary that includes Nepali and Hindi poems. He has previously published another collection “Mero diary ka pana haru”. Also a passionate lyricist, Basant Chaudhary has already released his four music-albums and is coming up with his fifth album “Love for Ever.” Popular Nepali Singers and few Indian Singers including Shreya Ghosal and Kailash Kher have worked with his songs. Along with his literary and musical journey, Chaudhary has also come up with CG Entertainment, an entertainment company to promote the music industry scenario of Nepal. An outcome of Chaudhary’s musical efforts, CG entertainment today provides Music and Movies production and marketing services.

Chaudhary’s contribution to Nepali music and literature is much appreciated. In his short London visit, Nepali Literature Development Council-UK (NLDC-UK) also honored him for his contribution amidst a special function.
