Nisha Adhikari – First Nepali Actress to climb Mt. Everest
Popular nepali actress Nisha Adhikari has become the first Nepali actress to climb the world’s highest peak – Mt. Everest. She has successfully climbed the highest peak Mt. Everest on Tuesday (21/05/2013) morning at 8:00 am. Nisha Adhikari had left Kathmandu for the base camp on 9th April 2013 along with her actor friend Arjun Karki and 11 other people.
Nisha Adhikari, back from her everest expedition, arrived at the TIA on friday morning. Several people from the nepali film industry were there to welcome so called “brave” actress of the industry. This should be indeed a great victory and a proud moment in her life.

I just have watched your interview on TV Filmy. In my life I have seen only 5 Nepali films till now. Most of the actresses I do not like their styles and their cheapness. You have changed me. Your education, style, your boldness … I am quite impressed. It really help to enhance the quality of Nepali film as well as the actress.
