Hundreds of Nepalis Walk for Nepal in London
A walkathon, Walk for Nepal attracted hundreds of participants to walk along and raise funds for Nepal in London last Saturday. Walking around five miles in Richmond Park of London, the participants managed to raise more than three thousand pounds within few hours.
Walk for Nepal came to London after its success in several US cities including Boston, Dallas, Washington and New York. Administered by Nepal ko Yuwa (NKY) in the US, the program was organized in the UK by Grassroot Movement in Nepal (GMIN UK) and Help Nepal Network (HeNN). Several other charities also joined hands to Walk and raise funds for Nepal in the event.
