Binod Chaudhary Ranked 1465th in the 2014 Forbes Billionaires List

Binod Chaudhary, the first and only Nepali citizen to be listed in the Forbes Billionaires List, has once again made a place in the 2014 Forbes Billionaires List. Industrialist Chaudhary, with an estimated property of $ 1.1 b, has been ranked #1465 among 1645 billionaires. As for last year, he was at 1342th position among 1426 billionaires listed by Forbes Magazine.

Industrialist Chaudhary, 58 is recognized as a ‘role model’ in Nepali Industry Sector. He is the owner of internationally renowned multinational Chaudhary Group (CG) brand. With around 40 companies under CG brand, Chaudhary has ownership over Nabil Bank and the famous Wai Wai noodles. Currently, he has been investing in expanding hotel business over several parts of Asia including Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi.

In the recently published list, Microsoft Co-founder Bill Gates has again climbed to the top of the list with an estimated property of $ 76 b. In the 2014 Forbes Billionaires List, there are 50 billionaires from US, 37 listed from China, 26 billionaires ranked from Germany, and 23 enumerated from Brazil. Likewise, Indian Capitalist Mukesh Ambani has been ranked 40th in the list with an estimated property holdings of $ 18.6 b.

Also, for the first time, there are around 10% women billionaires in the Forbes Billionaires List. Wal-Mart Coordinator Christy Walton is placed at 9th position with an estimated property holdings of $ 36.7 b.
